August tours, new resources

Hi comrades,

we have lots of tours coming up in August including the return of our weekly Revolutionary Glasgow tour, a greatest hits of the city’s radical history, and a collaboration with Fun Palaces which sees a classic Whose City? Our City! tour return to the city centre for one day only!

Our tours of Govanhill Baths as part of Govanhill International Festival and Carnival have unfortunately sold out, but check out the programme here as there are loads of other great tours being run by other groups including ones on Jewish Govanhill, anti-racist histories, housing struggles and organising traditions and much more.

Resources

Newly up on our resources page is a radical print histories zine which you can download and print, along with other zines and handouts on themes like histories of fascism and antifascism, queer histories, migrant histories and Smudge the trade unionist cat.

T-shirts

Remember you can get a lovely antifascist t-shirt or jumper exclusively from our Teemill shop here – accept no imitations! All profits go to production of free antifascist stickers, zines and other resources. If your organisation or group has a space where people could pick these up from please drop us a line to arrange this.

The People’s Pool

Have a listen to The People’s Pool, a brilliant Archive on 4 programme bringing together voices from the past and present of Govanhill Baths to discuss the building’s many histories and the wider social histories of public pools, washhouses and the struggles to save viral community resources. Including some sounds from an RGT tour of the building earlier in the year!
