Sat 29th July 3pm: Whose City? Our City!
Join us to learn about the stories of the people who shaped Scotland, the left and the world. Weavers, Anarchists, Feminists and Trade Unionists, from The Radical Rising, to the Rent Strike, from the struggle against apartheid to the fight for equal pay; this tour celebrates 200 years of radical Glaswegian lives.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours and cover a distance of 2 miles.

Sat 26th August 3pm: George Square
Join us to learn about some of the many events, actions and iconic moments that have taken place in George Square over the years. Taking in housing protests, asylum dispersal and the raising of the red flag, utopian poets, rent strikers and tenacious campaigners, this tour explores the ways people have used this central city space to make their voices heard.
This tour has been designed with minimal walking. We will make our way around the inner circumference of George Square over the course of 1-1.5hrs.

11th-17th September: Doors Open Days Festival, date TBC
We will be running a new tour called Radical Pollokshields: The many histories of a Glasgow neighbourhood as part of this year’s festival. Keep an eye on Doors Open Day website for the festival programme announcement.
Sat 30th September 3pm: Season finale! Govan Radical Histories
Close the summer tour season by taking a journey through some of the many radical histories of Govan. From work-ins and red roses to rent strikes and the arms trade, celebrate the people, movements and moments that have shaped the area over the years.
The walk will last approximately 2 hours and cover a distance of 2 miles.

Radical Glasgow Tours for hire
None of the above times work? If you can rustle up 15-20 people who are willing to make a £6 per head donation we can arrange a tour for you.
Choose from any of our existing walks: John Maclean (Southside), Red Clydeside (Glasgow Green to Broomielaw), Refugee histories of Glasgow (city centre), Whose City? Our City (city centre), Women’s organising and activism (city centre), George Square (city centre, minimal walking) Radical Pollokshields (from September), Govan Radical Histories (from September).
This is a solidarity rate for groups of pals, families, reading groups etc. We are also open to running the tours as a fundraiser for radical causes.
If you are a business, well-resourced organisation or trade union then commissioning Radical Glasgow Tours to develop or deliver a tour for your staff, members or volunteers is a great way to support us to continue to provide the core tour programme free of charge.
