All monthly tours are pay what you can, pricing is on a sliding scale but if cost is a barrier you can message us for free tickets no questions asked. Radical history is for everyone!!

Comradely afternoon at the Calton Burial Ground, remembering the Calton Martrys and planting a tree for Elspeth King. A tree for Elspeth King, at the annual commemoration of the Calton Weavers 🚩✊🏻 On the 30th August 1820 the most unpopular execution in Glasgow history took place on Glasgow Green as James 'Purlie' Wilson was beheaded in front of a crowd of 20,000, who called out ‘murder’ and ‘he is a martyr'. Wilson was a weaver from Strathaven who had taken part in an uprising. Here's a lovely photo of RGT's resident Ruglonian @rent_a_gent_glasgow. Tickets for our new Radical Rutherglen tour happening in September as part of @rutherglen900 are now sold out, but we will re-run it if there are lots of Rutherglen radical history fans out there? One of Glasgow's 20th century megaliths, McPhun's Park time spiral. The time spiral sits on the edge of Glasgow Green (near the football pitches), and tells the story of Glasgow Green "from earliest recorded memory to the present day" (1996). Died on this day in 1924, Glasgow schoolteacher and revolutionary John Maclean. Seen here in a stained glass panel by comrade @keiramcleanglass in @glasgowlifelibraries Pollokshaws Library, and (alongside Karl Marx) in a woodblock print by comrade @badsauna commissioned for the centenary of Maclean's death.
